As a QA Analyst, you will be responsible for examining, validating and testing customized solutions based on and around EDQ products in accordance to the requirements, specifications, established or defined quality and performance standards, within delivery timelines. The QA Analyst will be working closely with an Australian Consultancy Team. There will be also other analysts & developers in Experian Global Delivery Center Malaysia who will work alongside to support from both technical and cultural perspectives.

 

• Develop, maintain and execute test cases as accordance to business requirements.
• Involved in Functional Testing with the opportunity to expose in Automation Testing.
• Proactively identify test issues and potential process improvement areas, suggest options and recommend approaches.
• Take part in software design discussions, reviews and test strategy sessions.
• Track and manage defects to resolution.
• Perform various types of testing including:
  • White Box testing
  • Black Box testing
  • Functional Testing
  • Non – Functional Testing
• Good to have: Exposure to XUnit, Selenium, C#, Postman, Insomnia, SoapUI, JMeter

About the Role

You will lead, in partnership with the business partners to ensure that all Risk and Compliance risk areas are efficiently and effectively assessed, mitigated and controlled with reference to the best working approaches and standards of AIA Group and its Business Units.

• Responsible for the overall design, implementation and ongoing improvement of organization’s Risk and Compliance Programme that is focused on sound governance of an operations shared services entity whilst ensuring its alignment with Business and Strategic objectives of the Group
• Lead the implementation of an effective compliance and risk assessment programme for organization and engage with key business partners which includes:-

1) working with business divisions and functions (e.g. Group and/or

Business Partner, Internal and External Audit, Finance, Risk and

Compliance, and Legal) to build up and / or implement a risk control

framework and provide quality and solutions-focused advice on risk

and control issues relevant to the business functions for advised

decision-making on compliance and ethics matters

2) Develop and implement an effective education programme through

ongoing communication and training to embed a risk culture within

organization

• Represent organization in Group Risk and Compliance initiatives through active participation and liaison work
• Develop relevant Risk and Compliance policies and procedures to support the objectives and values of organization
• Communicate Risk and Compliance matters including timely and accurate reporting and/or issue of such matters in accordance with relevant reporting and protocols
• Conduct compliance and risk reviews on business functions and provide strong support to the monitoring programme and assurance on the implementation of remedial actions on any non-compliance issues
• Develop structural approach to effectively look after suspected instances of compliance policy violations by employees, from receiving allegations to planning and conducting investigations
• Lead, develop and ensure effectiveness of the local organization Risk and Compliance function, to support delivery of their objectives and requirements

Job Requirements:-

• Strong work experience in the financial industry handling compliance and/or controls
• In-depth understanding of the Insurance business preferred and, in lieu of insurance, financial services
• Excellent command of English (both written and oral)
• Engaging speaker and with excellent interpersonal skills
• Independent and able to handle pressure
• Must be well organised, meticulous and analytical
• With high level of integrity and ownership and accountability of result

About the Role

Complete AML Quality Assurance (QA) activities undertaken by the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Centre of Excellence

• Assist in designing and implement an effective Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Quality Assurance Programme.
• Conduct data analysis, sample tests and root cause analysis to assess effectiveness of AML related controls in AIA Business Units and to identify control weaknesses & improvement opportunities
• Recommend action plans aimed to enhance AML control environment, monitor progress of action plans and follow-up for timely completion of actions.
• Recommend improvements to enhance governance of the AML QA Programme and participate in related projects.
• Compile risk-based management information, dashboards and governance reports as specified.
• Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor to meet operational and/or other requirements.

Job Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree holder in appropriate field (e.g. Accounting, Risk Management, Business Management or Law) with 3 years work experience in the financial industry handling AML / Financial Crime Compliance or a relevant role.
• Understanding of the Insurance business preferred and, in lieu of insurance, financial services.
• Certified AML Specialist (preferred).
• Excellent command of English (both written and oral) and report writing skills.
• Dedicated, able to work under pressure, well organised, meticulous and analytical.
