Job Description :
- Report to Senior Executive.
- Execute purchasing functions according to company objectives, policies and procedures.
- 4M change/ Special Accept control.
- New model (transfer) control.
- Model EOL control.
- Supplier's payment control.
- Source, analyze quotations and negotiate prices with suppliers.
- Optimize the overall cost of materials and ensure that materials supply equals demand.
- Responsible to issue the purchase order by using the SAP/MRP system and provide forecast for sub material and other items to suppliers.
- Responsible to issue the purchase order by using the SAP/MRP system and provide forecast for LC and KD parts to suppliers.
- Ensure all purchase orders are placed with pricing and terms & conditions that are negotiated and agreed.
- Follow up and expedite the delivery from the supplier to avoid any line down.
- Monitoring inventory level based on monthly inventory report and analyses inventory turns, potential obsolescence and inventory day supply.
- Work with internal departments to review material requirements and delivery lead-time to meet customers' needs.
- Budget control by driving down overall cost of materials including freight expenses, and administration expenses and materials liability.
- Coordinate and follow up with supplier if there is a non-comformance matrerial been delivered.
- Read the Information Security Policy and those supporting policies and guidelines that are relevant to their role.
- Implement good workplace practices of complying with the Information Security Policy.
- Responsibility for dealing securely with any information they have access to in the course of their duties.
Job Requirements :
- Qualification : Process a Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent qualification
- Experience : Minimum 2 year of working experience in Purchasing Control function or similar role within the MNC
- Microsoft/ SAP/ MRP experience is essential
- English/ Bahasa Malaysia/ Chinese/ Japanese
