LDC is looking for a Solution Specialist to join our growing global team of data analytics experts, supporting innovative solutions which impact can transform our business.
As a Solution Specialist, you will contribute to the end‑to‑end lifecycle of Data & Analytics solutions. You will help gather requirements, design data models, develop analytics products, support deployments, and ensure continuous improvement. This is a hands‑on role with strong exposure to modern data platforms, Power BI, ERP systems, and business processes across trading, execution, and finance.
Main Responsibilities
- Understand core business processes and underlying data structures from front‑ and back‑office systems.
- Design and develop data models, ETL/ELT flows, and data transformation logic from source systems into data lake and/or Power BI datasets.
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models used across regional teams.
- Work with the AI team to support forecasting and machine learning initiatives, including data preparation, model development, deployment of insights into dashboards, and helping business teams adopt and utilize predictive outputs.
- Manage enhancement requests, document changes, and support production issues to ensure solution reliability.
- Collaborate with global IT and product teams to align regional needs with global roadmaps.
- Provide training, onboarding, and day‑to‑day support to business users to drive analytics adoption.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, data quality enhancement, and model optimization.
- Coordinate with IT partners and other service lines to address cross‑functional dependencies.
Experience
- Strong academic foundation in IT, Computer Science, Data & Analytics, Engineering, or related fields.
- Demonstrated interest in data, business intelligence, or analytics tools (project work, internships, or coursework).
- Experience as a Data Analyst, BI Developer, or IT Solution Specialist.
- Hands‑on experience with SQL, data modelling, and BI tool development (preferably Power BI).
- Exposure to ERP data structures and analytics projects is a plus.
- Fresh Graduates are welcomed.
Skills (Technical & Soft)
- Strong Database competencies is a must (Oracle and/or MS SQL Server), being able to navigate through data via SQL statements, create store procedures and complex queries, define data modelling, data transformation pipelines, ETLs and data management
- Hands‑on experience with BI tools is a must—Power BI preferred (DAX, Power Query, data modelling).
- Familiarity with Azure analytics stack (Azure Synapse, ADF, Databricks, Data Lake Gen2) is a strong plus.
- Hands-on experience on data warehouse / data lake implementation on ERP or similar business data will be considered a strong plus
- Hands-on experience on scripting language is a plus i.e. Python, R
- Inclination to make improvements, find new ideas and challenge the status quo. Ability to connect the dots beyond pure user requests deeply understanding use cases and translate them into technical and functional requirements
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new systems, tools, and business processes.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly with business and IT stakeholders.
Academics
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, or related discipline; or prior proven IT experience.
