We’re a small, high-velocity team and we’re looking for a junior dev to join us across daily development work — data investigations, ETL flows, and shipping new features — in a fully AI-assisted development environment.
What the future looks likeWe’re building toward a fully automated data operations layer. Every data inconsistency we trace today becomes a detection rule or automated fix tomorrow — the goal is that no error is ever manually dealt with twice. As AI-assisted development matures across the team, the role evolves from firefighting to building the systems that prevent fires. If you’re motivated by eliminating entire categories of problems rather than just solving them one at a time, you’ll fit right in.
Must have- Python (Django, FastAPI, or similar)
- SQL — comfortable writing and debugging queries against relational databases
- ETL / data pipeline reasoning — tracing why a number looks wrong, following data from source to aggregation
- Git / GitHub — PRs, branching, reading CI/CD output
- Curiosity and comfort navigating large, unfamiliar codebases
Nice to have- Supabase — we use it across multiple products
- TypeScript / React or similar — we have applications built on top of Supabase
- Flutter or mobile/web application development (iOS, Android, web)
- Celery / Redis or similar async task queue experience
- GCP or any cloud platform basics (containers, logs, deployments)
- Experience in a brownfield or legacy codebase
What the work actually looks like- Tracing data inconsistencies — integration providers sending malformed/unexpected data, customers changing how they aggregate or structure their source data
- Writing data queries and debugging aggregation logic across the ETL pipeline
- Building features across web, iOS, and Android
- Picking up well-scoped tasks in codebases you didn’t build
- Working with AI coding tools — we’re moving toward AI-assisted development across the board, so comfort there matters
Not a fit if- You need greenfield projects or a fully documented codebase to be productive
- You’re uncomfortable asking questions and figuring things out as you go
- Afraid of taking on new technologies
