Job Description
We are looking, on behalf of our client, for a Senior Backend Developer with extensive experience in Elixir and OTP for a long-term consulting assignment. You will join a small, highly skilled development team building and further developing scalable, business-critical backend services with high requirements for availability, performance, and stability. This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys working hands-on with technology and wants to work with complex systems in a modern product organization.
We are looking for someone who has:
- At least 6 years of professional experience with Elixir and OTP, including production systems
- Experience building scalable, high-performance, and robust systems
- A strong understanding of system architecture and architectural design
- Experience with caching, message queues, and service-oriented architectures
- A strong understanding of code quality, testing, and maintainability
- Experience with Linux and infrastructure
- Experience with areas such as deployment, monitoring, alerting, load testing, and troubleshooting in production environment
- The ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
- Excellent spoken and written English
