About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and domain-savvy Senior Java Developer to join our
dynamic IT/Engineering team in Riyadh. In this role, you will be instrumental in the
development, customization, and implementation of core Trade Finance applications
within a banking/FinTech environment. You will bridge the gap between technical
execution and business needs, working heavily with the Finastra suite (FTI, FCC, and
TICC).
The ideal candidate brings not only strong Java engineering skills but also a deep
understanding of Corporate Banking and Trade Finance workflows to ensure our
solutions align with complex business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• System Development & Customization: Design, develop, and deploy scalable
Java-based applications and customizations within Finastra Fusion Trade Innovation
(FTI) and Fusion Corporate Channels (FCC).
• Module Integration: Manage end-to-end integration mapping using TICC (Trade
Innovation Corporate Channels) and other middleware to seamlessly connect frontend corporate channels with back-office trade operations.
• Business Alignment: Leverage your business knowledge in Trade Finance to
interpret requirements from Business Analysts and product teams, translating them
into robust technical solutions.
• API & Core Banking Integration: Build and maintain secure integrations between
Finastra products, Core Banking Systems, SWIFT networks, and payment gateways
using RESTful APIs, XML, and XLate.
• System Upgrades & Maintenance: Lead patch management, version upgrades,
and ongoing technical support for the FTI/FCC ecosystem.
• Quality Assurance: Write clean, maintainable code, conduct thorough unit testing,
and collaborate with QA teams to ensure system stability and compliance with Saudi
financial regulations (SAMA guidelines).
Technical Qualifications:
• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience as a Java
Developer in the FinTech or Banking sector.
• Core Stack: Extensive proficiency in Java / J2EE, Spring Framework (Spring Boot),
and Hibernate.
• Finastra Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience customizing and configuring:
• FTI (Fusion Trade Innovation / TI+) including the FTI SDK and Screen Tailoring.
• FCC (Fusion Corporate Channels).
• TICC (Trade Innovation Corporate Channels) integration.
• Database Mastery: Strong skills in relational databases, specifically Oracle DB and
PL/SQL.
• Architecture & Middleware: Experience with WebSphere, JBoss, or WebLogic, and
a strong understanding of Microservices architecture, XML, JSON, and APIs.
Business & Domain Knowledge Requirements:
• Solid understanding of Trade Finance products and lifecycles (Letters of Credit, Bank
Guarantees, Documentary Collections, Supply Chain Finance).
• Familiarity with Corporate Banking workflows and digital channel onboarding.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical business stakeholders
clearly.
Soft Skills & Other Requirements:
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is a strong plus).
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
