About the role: We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team in the Banking sector being responsible for end to end delivery of Data, BI & Advanced analytics solutions, data governance and quality.
Location and Work Setup: The position is based in the Bucharest Office, near Grozavesti metro station, with a flexible hybrid way of working.
Responsibilities
- Utilize your expertise to develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software;
- Document & deliver the solutions using colaborative tools (e.g. Confluence & Jira) and meeting internal quality standards;
- Prepare of the test contexts for the testing phase in accordance with the received requirements;
- Applying the patches on the testing environments, prepare the test environement for FAT & UAT testing and perform unit testing
What Are We Looking For
- University degree (Automation, Electronics, Cybernetics, Mathematics and Computer Science)
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in designing / developing applications
- Software development in the technologies required
- Modifying and / or adding functionality to existing applications according to specifications
- Ensures that programming results are consistent with the functional and operational requirements of the solution, such as functional performance, compatibility, security and regulatory compliance
- Reviews and writes documentation for the code lines created, applications, instructions;
- Execute unit-test for the code developed
- Advanced knowledge in Oracle databases, SQL and PL/SQL
- Solid knowledge in other database systems and technologies (MS-SQL, Postgresql, Hadoop, Hive, Impala, Snowflake, BigQuery, BigTable, DataBricks)
- Python solid knowledge
- Solid knowledge in ETL Tools (Informatica, AbInitio, Talend, ODI)
- Solid knowledge in OS scripting development (Unix, Powershell)
- Solid knowledge in standard development methodology and tools (IDE, TOAD, VS Code, IntelIJ, git, gitlab, CI/CD, Jira, Confluence)
