About The Role
In this role, you will join a growing SoftServe team delivering solutions for a client in the government administration domain. You will contribute to digital transformation initiatives, building secure, resilient, and scalable Java‑based platforms that support the patent-granting process and corporate services across Europe.
Through this position, you will work on mission‑critical systems operating in complex regulatory environments, collaborate with experienced engineering professionals, and help shape solutions that have a tangible impact on public services at a European scale.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evolve Java-based applications using Spring Boot within enterprise-grade environments
- Develop high-quality, maintainable code that strengthens system reliability and long-term sustainability
- Collaborate with engineers, product stakeholders, and delivery partners to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Participate across the full software implementation lifecycle, from analysis and development to production rollout and ongoing support
- Provide technical input for core components while aligning with architectural standards and engineering best practices
- Support troubleshooting activities, incident resolution, and continuous service improvement
- Contribute within an autonomous team culture that promotes shared ownership, flexibility, and continuous learning
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot
- Solid understanding of end-to-end software delivery, including development, deployment, and maintenance
- Practical exposure to Angular or similar frontend technologies
- Ability to write clear, efficient, and maintainable code
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Collaborative mindset with motivation to learn and contribute to collective delivery success
