Your Role And Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled AWS DevOps engineer who will be responsible for the implementation of AWS services configuration within the customer's tenant.
Core Responsibilities Include
- Designing and operating AWS-based cloud infrastructure (EKS, EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, Load Balancers)
- Managing and optimizing Kubernetes clusters (networking, autoscaling, security, resource usage)
- Building infrastructure using Terraform and IaC best practices
- Supporting containerized environments with Docker
- Implementing GitLab CI pipelines and GitOps workflows
- Supporting data platforms (Apache Hive, Impala, Ranger) and writing optimized SQL
- Developing automation and tooling in Python
- Troubleshooting complex infrastructure and deployment issues
- Collaborating cross functionally to improve reliability, security, and delivery

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
This role focuses on designing, building, and operating secure, scalable, and highly available cloud platforms on AWS, with a strong emphasis on Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and modern CI/CD practices. The engineer works closely with engineering and data teams to enable reliable deployments, optimize performance, and improve operational excellence.
- Certification in AWS Administration: Certified in AWS Administration, with a strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code provisioning and sandbox environment creation.
- Experience with Containerized Applications: Experienced in designing and deploying containerized applications on AWS, leveraging expertise in AWS Component services for Compute, Storage, Networking, and Monitoring.
- Experience with Hybrid Cloud Environments: Experienced in administering hybrid cloud environments, configuring HA/DR, and managing Kubernetes clusters, applying knowledge of Storage, Compute, and Security Services.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker: Experienced in utilizing Kubernetes and Docker to manage application lifecycles, deployed clusters, and orchestration best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD Pipelines: Experienced in ensuring seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines.
