Job Responsibilities
- Backend Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side application logic.
- Build APIs for seamless integration with frontend applications and third-party services.
- Ensure data security and implement authentication systems.
- Database Management:
- Design and optimize database structures to ensure high performance and scalability.
- Handle database migrations, backups, and restoration processes.
- System Optimization:
- Optimize server-side processes for speed and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance issues.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with frontend developers to ensure smooth integration.
- Coordinate with DevOps engineers for continuous deployment and scalability.
- Innovation:
- Research and implement new backend technologies and methodologies to improve the platform.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in backend development.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in server-side programming languages like Python, Java, Node.js, or Ruby.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL) such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- AWS Certified Developer or equivalent cloud-related certifications.
- Backend development certifications from platforms like Udemy or Coursera.
Remuneration
- Base Salary: QAR 140,000–QAR 200,000 annually (based on experience and market trends for 2025).
