Job responsibilities:
- Identify and create close working relationships with all key personnel at potential accounts and develop a thorough understanding of their renewable energy strategies and needs.
- Provide commercial and technical assistance to selected high potential accounts and foster the development their renewable energy strategies.
- Ensure the company’s solar photovoltaic projects and any related business in the renewable energy and power sector have favourable consideration in all renewable energy projects at high potential accounts.
- Understand the impact of national and regional market drivers, financing and competiveness of the company’s Renewable Energy products and services offered.
- Identify project issues early and anticipate competitor move
- Stay current with the development of company’s association with new Renewable Energy related products and services providers and effectively communicate their value to any potential accounts.
- Identify, develop, and close sales opportunities with any potential accounts.
- Identify, understand, and communicate to the Renewable Energy business, customer issues which are critical.
- Work effectively in a team environment with Commercial Operations, Technical Operations, Engineering, Finance, OTR (Order to Remittance) and Services to insure the most efficient use of all resources.
- Integra broader products and services into both strategic and transactional activities and opportunities.
- Participate in and support renewable energy trade shows, conferences, and other market development activities.
- Maintain accurate and current project and opportunity information within a file/ folder in the company’s server/storage devices and manage the ITO (Inquiry to Order) process for assigned accounts.
- Be accountable for orders, pricing / profitability, risk, terms & conditions, and customer satisfaction.
- Responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of company projects through to completion along with managing budgets and financial aspects of the project.
- Oversee and organise the installation of any product installation, particularly commercial installations.
- Attend customer meetings, and deal with all levels within different industries.
- Evaluate the performance of each direct report (if applicable) at least annually with written performance evaluations.
- Recommend compensation changes for all direct reports within corporate and budgetary guidelines.
- Overall responsibility to evaluate and recommend training for employees working within the department.
- At all time, adhere to the company’s policies and regulations with regards to its ISO 9001 organizational management system.
- To discuss business development strategies with superior and produce a business plan covering sales revenue targets, profit margins and other required details. Business Plan shall be reviewed every quarter or whenever necessary.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Minimum Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent
2. At least 10 years working experience.
