We are looking for a Head of Finance to oversee accounting and finance functions.
● Work with commercial team on overall business strategy and expansion
● Prepare monthly, quarterly & annual closing and submission of consolidated management reports and analysis to management, BOD and holding company (listed co)
● Budget and cashflow preparation and monitoring
● Involved in expansion into other countries, looking into payments, taxation, company set up
● Manage our bookkeeping and accounting shared service provider to ensure accurate and timely financial and management reporting
● Responsible for general accounting functions, i.e. Invoicing, Payment, Collection, Filing and others
● Prepare and review financial statements and reports, ensure full compliance with Group policies and accounting standards
● Ensure that an adequate internal control system is maintained and implemented
● Able to liaise with internal stakeholders as well as external stakeholders, such as external auditors, tax consultants, bank and government authorities to ensure compliance with relevant legislations
● Responsible for general administrative and HR matters
● Responsible for any ad-hoc reporting/projects as assigned
● Manage SST, withholding tax and other tax compliance matters
● Minimum requirement at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Professional Degree in Finance/Accounting/Banking or equivalent with good analytical skills
● At least 3 years of relevant experience, with 2 years of experience in Big 4
● Good knowledge of MS Office, Malaysia FRS and other accounting regulatory requirements
● Preferably experienced in MYOB accounting software
● Must be a team player, independent with self-initiative, meticulous and have strong sense of responsibility
● Keen to work in a dynamic and challenging environment
● Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
● Ability to start at short notice is preferred
