Responsibilities:
- Solicit new business through referrals and cold calls on new customers while maintaining close relationship with the existing client base to achieve sales targets and/or promote repeated sales.
- Assist in developing marketing strategies, business planning and budgetary control.
- Maintains relations with investors by organizing road shows and specific client relations programs; determining company presence at conventions, investment fairs, and seminars.
- Make use of multimedia tools and social media to promote marketing activities and distribution of marketing materials.
- Establish new sales distribution channels for our existing funds and promote incremental business from our existing business partners.
- Other duties to be assigned by the Management from time to time.
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree / Master in Marketing, Business Studies, Finance or equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal skills, good communication skills, outgoing and self-motivated.
- Good command in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to speak in Mandarin and Cantonese will be an added advantage.
- Resourceful with good problem-solving skills and able to handle pressure well.
- Computer literate with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- At least 1-5 years of working experience in sales and marketing.
- Priority is given to those with proven track record of success in marketing roles especially in unit trust/investment products.
