RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your typical tasks that may be carried out include:
- Direct the planning, support, and execution of all marketing activities for assigned lists:
- Develop and oversee marketing and sales support strategies, launches, campaigns, initiatives, plans, and budgets to support assigned lists and key titles for corporate marketing and training programmes.
- Able to create and maintain good agency and corporate companies’ network locally and internationally.
- Develop and maintain an aggressive plan in achieving set targets.
- Analyze and identify market opportunities, customer needs, and the competition.
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans and campaigns for assigned lists and key titles.
- Oversee the launch and ongoing promotion for assigned lists and key titles.
- Give product presentations.
- Help create new materials for product training and presentation preparation.
- Travel to work with sales reps / business development executive on campus, to meetings and conferences.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidate must possess relevant academic qualifications with a minimum of 3 years experience in corporate sales in higher education.
- Experience in both the sales and marketing areas in the Higher Education publishing industry
- Possess excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize a large volume of projects
- Must have basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office).
- Able to multi task and work independently.
- Strong track record of leadership, collaboration and working well with others
