Job Descriptions:
- Assist in group consolidated financial statements for the group companies according to prevailing accounting standards and Listing Requirements.
- Overseas the overall finance & accounts functions of designated subsidiaries.
- Ensure timely preparation of financial accounts & reports.
- Review monthly accounts, variance analysis and highlight key weaknessess.
- Coordinate the budgetary process and financial forecast.
- Cashflow management and treasury functions.
- Review the tax computation and deferred taxation.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agent, solicitors, bankers and company secretary to ensure all matters relating to audit, tax and statutory requirements are complied.
- Any other related functions assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Possess a professional accounting qualification/ bachelor degree in accounting with good academic results.
- Preferably a member of MIA.
- Experience in preparing group consolidated accounts of public listed company
- Well versed with the latest accounting standards (MFRS), reporting requirements of Bursa Malaysia and other regulatory requirements would be and added advantage.
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
- Must be a team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently, meet tight dedlines and other relevant commitments.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese, English.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
