Job Summary
Solution Architect will oversee all technology services, product analysis, and software architecture activities. As well, this role is responsible for owning rapid development processses, and managing the rapid development team in its development of the Company's products and undertaken project.
This role will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include designing of software solution, recommendation on development tools and technologies, implementing suitable technology framework based on user requirements, assisting pre-sales activities and also addressing complaints and resolving problems.
The role requires to remain innovative in design and stay abreast of all industry hot topics.
The Role:
- Responsible to lead rapid development team to the completion of design and development under aggresive timelines
- Mentor staff members in order to assist them in cultivating their skills.
- Responsible for solutions and architecture recommendations to implement project requirements.
- Review technical designs created for conformance to development standards, appropriate design choices.
- Work closely with Project Managers and participates in project life cycle to ensure delivery in accordance to blueprints and architectural vision
- Create implementation plan and documentation to be followed by development staff.
- Utilize ingenuity and inventive thinking to evaluate options for design and deriving the best solutions based on sound analytical judgment, team input and the customers’ best interest.
- Collaborates with project stakeholders to understand requirements generated by business strategies and operational requirements.
- Responsible for technical project proposal preparation covering technical architecture, BOMs (bill of materials), and person-days effort estimations.
- Keep abreast of latest technologies/Framework in solution design

What you would need:
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related IT field
- Must have at least 4-5 years of experience working in all phases of IT projects, preferably with at least 2 years in managerial position.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience in developing and architecting software solutions, as well as significant experience in multiple hardware/software computing environments and system components.
- Deep and broad domain knowledge (act as subject matter expert) in software development platforms covering complete solution to make solution works end-to-end including (but not limited to): front-end, mobility, web services API, database, networking, servers.
- Prior experience in development using C/C++, .NET, Java, Objective-C, T-SQL or similar languages
- Possess ability to extract and translate business requirements into technical requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and facilitation skills with demonstrated ability to engage and influence business and technical audiences, including business leaders and other architects.
- Ability to close the gaps between business and technical by communicating using languages from both sides
- Must demonstrate good judgment and approach to delivering software solution that optimizes architecture across company needs, business constraints and technological limitations
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction and to work collaboratively in a multi-discipline team
