WAREHOUSE MANAGER - Kota Kinabalu

Responsibilities:

  • Create various effective strategies and plans for managing all activities and operations of warehouse;
  •  Directs, plans and coordinates the warehouse storage and distribution operations for all Sabah branches;
  •  Responsible for developing cost reducing strategies over all activities of warehouse; 
  •  Supervising Distribution Centre employees, dealing with shipping and delivery procedures;
  •  Ensure timely delivery to meet delivery deadlines;
  •  Liaise with customers, suppliers and transport companies;
  •  Maintain hygiene and security in the work environment;
  •  Oversee the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment;
  •  Ensures compliance with health and safety legislation.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Warehousing Logistics, Administrative Management or Business Management or its equivalent;
  • Those without the relevant qualifications but have 5 years’ experience in warehousing/logistics management are also encouraged to apply;
  • Managerial and people management skills;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Planning, organising and numerical skills;
  • Initiative, decisiveness and logical reasoning;
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
