BSSB Furniture BHD SDN is a British owned and governed, volume manufacturer of ‘Quality Upholstered, Bedroom Furniture. Our key products are Bedsteads, were we are recognised as on of the largest manufacturers and global exporters of such products. Our factory and offices are based in Telok Gong - Port Klang, Selangor. Perfectly located near to the port, where we ship in excess of 10k containers of product per calendar month. BSSB also have a Furniture Innovation Division - of which has grown to become a leader in the design and integration of mechanical/electrical technology.
Position : Quality Control Manager
Reporting to: Technical Mananager.
This will entail:
- Champion perfection in Quality, Reliability and Performance - Ensuring all new and existing products are fit for purpose and able to perform through its period of warranty, without failure. KPI’s of no more than 1%
- Supplier Outgoing Quality Control (OQC) - Ensuring all Innovation related supply chains, are following ‘best practice QC protocols.
- BSSB Factory Incoming Quality Control (IQC) - Ensuring all Innovation Products are cosmetically, structurally and operationally sound and passed for production stock items.
- BSSB Factory Inline production Quality Control (PQC) - Ensure all Innovation Products maintain their structural and operational integrity, while going through each production channel.
- End of Line BSSB - Pre Packing Quality Control - Ensuring all Innovation Products are fully operational and fit for packaging / transportation to county of origin.
- Devise and oversee best practice protocols for all the above.
- Factory / Supplier Audits - Ensuring all supply chains are fit, capable and ready to manufacture & supply to BSSB .
- Country Standards, Legislation & Certification - Ensuring all Innovation Products are prepared and able to pass country standards.
- Certification - Ensure all Innovation products have the required Certification for each destination, by New Product Development (NPD) Sign Off.
- Raise ‘None Conformity Request’ Forms (NCR) and Engineering Change Request Forms (ECR) where applicable.
- Utilisation of Microsoft Office Products
- Regularly visiting Supply Chains (Mostly China) to oversea best practice development and QC of all Innovation Products
- Work alongside and manage spare parts and spare part stores with our Product Support
- Advisor (Customer Service Asia) Ensuring all BSSB Innovation Clients are well stocked and supported with spare parts supplies.
- Work alongside Tech Manager, to help and create simple and concise tech trouble shooting guides for retailers and end users.
- Utilise ERP Systems
