1. Solutions Delivery (including system development)
Understand the business requirements and conduct system analysis to propose solutions.
Discuss the proposed system solutions / design with Manager and work out the effort estimation
Prepare the Functional and Technical specifications. Walk through the Functional specifications with the relevant business users and local IT
Develop or modify the programs. Review delivery of the vendor if the development work is outsourced to vendor
Perform the system testing and provide support for UAT
Perform integration testing with other connected systems
Work closely with appointed vendors, where applicable, to ensure timely delivery and good quality of their deliverables
Investigate system problems and follow-up fixes with relevant vendors
Prepare relevant system / implementation documents.
Deliver training and provide knowledge transfer to help Production Team understand the system changes.
2. Delivery Process Management
Monitor vendors to ensure compliance with the required delivery process.
3. Testing COE
Provide support to conduct SIT and UAT with Testing COE to ensure its success.
4. Business Relationship Management and User Requirement Analysis
Support Solution Architect and Business Analyst in order to define business requirement, review solution options and provide solution estimation.
5. System Integration
Develop and design the programs for integration with other systems, together with vendors where applicable, to ensure the successful transition within OneIT.
6. Applications Management
Apply and adhere to policy, guidelines and standards in application development to ensure policy integrity.
7. Special Projects
Participate in relevant regional projects to support their success.

Requirements:
Qualification
University degree in Computer Science or related fields.
Skills
Good understanding of system development life cycle and quality assurance process.
Good analytical and problem solving skills and experience.
Good written and verbal English communication skills.
Ability to work independently.
Working knowledge of AS/400, COBOL, CL programs and Query/400 is required. Experience with CSC’s POLISY, GROUP or other insurance application systems would be a definite advantage.
