Responsibilities:
- Responsible for leading and managing team members on tax compliance & tax advisory assignments, working closely with clients and reporting to assignment directors, to ensure effective management of staff and processes to achieve high quality of work.
- Also play an active role in maintaining close client relationships with view of securing more business opportunities and participate in PwC’s product development group which identifies and develops new tax products/services which will potentially add value to clients' businesses by solving their tax problems.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess a Professional Certificate, Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics or equivalent.
- Possess at least 5-8 years of work experience in tax compliance and advisory with strong technical knowledge.
- Demonstrates an extensive ability and/or a proven record of success with identifying and addressing client needs, build solid relationships with clients, develop an awareness of Firm services, approach client in an organized and knowledgeable manner and demonstrate flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks.
- Demonstrates an extensive ability and/or a proven record of success as a team leader: supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust; seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation, participating in various staff retention activities and coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
