The Product Manager owns network and security product portfolio with strong understanding of product's features and IT services offerings. The Product Manager must have ability to work and collaborate with presales, verticals, product principals and customers to ensure revenue and business goals are met.
1. Effective communication with other BUs, internal teams, principals, partners and customer.
2. Market intelligent : - ability to analyse the products and understand competitors' products strength and weakness.
3. Consistently work with maintenance team, verticals sales to retain existing accounts and grow new business
4. To identify and develop new product business strategy
5. Driving product opportunities and provide product training and updates to internal teams, partners and customers.
6. Work with principals, finance and vertical sales to manage product deal, forecast, orders, aging, cost and rebate.
7. Assist presales and post sales on product's features and solutions
8. Identify opportunities/new solutions for growth.
9. Carry out regular performance reviews and objectives setting with internal team, partners and principals.
10. Conduct Post-mortems and analyse the lost deals as and when required.
Experience
1. Tertiary qualifications in IT and/or relevant operational IT and business experience.
2. Ability to do presentation, proposal, quotation, tender consolidation and pricing strategy.
3. Able to work independently, display initiative and keen to take responsibility.
4. Adaptable and flexible to changing environment and needs.
5. Able to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities and deadlines.
6. Professional, organized, self-motivated and results oriented.
7. Able to communicate and set the right product/solution expectation to presales, vertical sales, partner and customer.
8. Strong in interpersonal and communication skills.
9. Ability to lead product business; product business development; customer relation services to achieve product business goals.
10. Experience in high level technical principles of the service line and industry that it operates in.
