The Role
• Design, develop, test, and deploy new features for live streaming and playback experiences.
• Own projects end-to-end, from initial concept through to production and ongoing maintenance.
• Work on distributed cloud systems, primarily using Java, and contribute to feasibility studies for new cloud software solutions.
• Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary teams to bring innovative consumer electronics products to market.
• Drive key aspects of product definition, execution, and testing for always-on distributed systems.
• Analyze production metrics and customer experiences to ensure a fast and reliable service.
What You'll Need
• Experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and existing systems.
• Professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design.
• Experience working with distributed systems and understanding their deployment.
• Ability to drive tasks to completion and take ownership of projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive communication abilities.
