We are looking for an experienced engineer with strong Python expertise and leadership skills to design, develop and maintain scalable backend services, guide development teams, and drive technical excellence across software projects for our client operating in the energy industry.
What you will do:
- Write production‑grade Python code, including unit tests and documentation.
- Make and communicate technical decisions within architectural guidelines.
- Lead and mentor development team members.
- Ensure timely delivery of application features and components.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and support continuous improvement.
- Present technical concepts and prepare status updates for stakeholders.
What we're looking for:
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Advanced Python (3.9+) skills, including async programming and concurrency.
- Strong experience with FastAPI and scalable API/service development.
- Knowledge of microservice architecture, inter-service communication and API security (OAuth2, OIDC).
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, ArangoDB/Neo4J) and SQLAlchemy.
- Fluent English (C1) and ability to work in agile environments.
