Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a
Senior Python Developer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Poland. Our client is a leading global provider that gathers information and reports to enhance the environmental and social impacts on the business. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in building scalable, high-quality applications.
The role requires working hours with overlap till 7-8 PM CET.
Tech Stack
- Backend: Python, Django + SQLAlchemy, Celery + RabbitMQ, OpenAPI;
- DB: PostgreSQL, Redis; Frontend: React + TypeScript, OpenAPI, Playwright;
- CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines;
- Infrastructure: k8s+Terraform, Azure, Heroku, GCP.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend with Python and its frameworks.
- Comprehensive understanding of the web development process: design, development, deployment, and maintenance.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- The ability to plan, track, and ensure timely delivery
- Strong English communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate within squads.
Nice To Have
- Experience with Java, C++, C#, Rust, Ruby, and Go.
- Experience in frontend development with React and TypeScript.
- The ability to manage development projects from conception to completion.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications collaborating within cross-functional squads such as engineers, designers, and product managers.
- Actively participate in squad meetings to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications, leveraging cross-functional expertise to address complex challenges.
- Identify bottlenecks, fix bugs, and contribute to improving code quality and test automation within a team-oriented environment.
- Collaborate with the team to share knowledge and foster a culture where everyone can learn and grow together.
- Keep abreast of emerging trends and technologies in web development, sharing knowledge and insights with cross-functional teams to drive innovation.
