We're looking for Fact-Checking Analysts to verify AI-generated facts, statistics, and claims — helping ensure that AI systems deliver accurate, trustworthy information rather than spreading misinformation.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone with strong research instincts and a healthy skepticism toward unverified claims. No journalism or professional fact-checking background required — just a methodical mind and a commitment to getting things right.

What You'll Do
- Verify AI-generated statements, statistics, and claims against reliable, authoritative sources
- Flag factual errors, outdated information, and unsupported or misleading claims
- Rate the accuracy and reliability of AI outputs using structured evaluation rubrics
- Document your sources and clearly articulate the reasoning behind your fact-check decisions
- Cover a wide range of topics — from current events and science to history, culture, and technology
- Work independently and asynchronously on task-based assignments at your own pace
Who You Are
- Strong research skills with the ability to identify and evaluate trustworthy sources
- Naturally skeptical — you don't accept claims at face value without evidence
- Detail-oriented and systematic in your approach to evaluating information
- Clear and concise written communicator
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
- No prior journalism, fact-checking, or AI experience required
Nice to Have
- Background in research, journalism, academia, or investigative writing
- Experience with source verification, data analysis, or content moderation
- Familiarity with AI tools or content evaluation workflows
- Knowledge across multiple subject areas — science, law, politics, or history
