Job Summary
We are looking for a seasoned Senior Data Engineer & Data Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable, enterprise-grade data platforms. This hybrid role combines hands-on data engineering with strategic data architecture, supporting advanced analytics and investment decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Informatica IICS, Snowflake, and cloud data platforms, along with strong experience in the investment/financial services domain. The role requires active collaboration with business stakeholders to define data strategies and deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Data Architecture
- Define and implement enterprise data architecture aligned with business and investment strategies.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance data models and frameworks.
- Establish data governance, standards, and best practices across the organization.
- Lead data platform modernization and cloud adoption initiatives.
Data Engineering
- Develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica IICS.
- Build and optimize data solutions on Snowflake for performance and scalability.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability across pipelines.
- Handle large-scale structured and unstructured data efficiently.
Stakeholder & Delivery Management
- Engage with business users (finance, investment, and operations teams) to gather and refine requirements.
- Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and data models.
- Collaborate with BI and analytics teams to enable reporting and insights.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering and data architecture roles.
- Strong expertise in Informatica IICS (Data Integration, Data Quality, Application Integration).
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake (data warehousing, optimization, performance tuning).
- Strong knowledge of data modelling (dimensional, normalized, and enterprise models).
Experience In Cloud Platforms.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with large-scale data processing.
- Proven experience designing end-to-end data solutions.
Domain Expertise
- Experience in investment management, asset management, or financial services.
- Understanding of financial data, portfolio analytics, and reporting frameworks.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards in financial environments.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to bridge the gap between business and technology teams.
- Strong leadership, ownership, and mentoring capabilities.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Power BI or similar analytics tools.
