Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting Analyst to join our Accounting Services Team to perform and oversee end-to-end accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), reconciliations, and reporting. You will also play an important role in supporting transition projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across accounting operations. What Youll Do
As an AR/AP Senior Analyst, you will lead critical accounting processes that ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial operations.
Beyond managing day-to-day AP and AR, you will support transition projects, identify process improvements, and collaborate with global teams to deliver reliable results.
Youll also provide guidance to junior analysts, reinforcing best practices and strengthening the overall accounting function.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and review daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Ensure timely and accurate posting of transactions in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Support process transitions, migrations, and automation initiatives.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and variance analyses.
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports to support decision-making and business reviews.
- Collaborate with interna and global stakeholders to resolve issues and process discrepancies.
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Guide and support Junior Analysts, ensuring individual and team SLAs are met.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field.
4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a BPO or shared services structure.
Strong background in AP or AR; expertise in both is preferred.
Experience in process migration, transition, or process improvement is an advantage.
Exposure to Real Estate Accounting, US Accounting, and US GAAP is a plus.
Skills & Competencies
Knowledgeable in reconciliations, general ledger, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
Exposure to YARDI or MRI, an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver under tight deadlines.
Work Schedule & Set-Up
Set-up: Hybrid arrangement; candidates must be available to report onsite 23x per week or as needed.
Schedule: Mid-shift, 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM (PH Time), subject to business needs.
Overtime: May be required during month-end close and other peak periods.
