Tribal is a global EdTech company helping schools deliver better learning outcomes. Our Manila development team is growing, we’re looking for full-stack engineers who can work across backend systems and occasional UI components using C#, .NET, and JavaScript-based tools.


This role is mostly remote, with occasional visits to our Quezon City office (2–3 times per month).


What you’ll do


  • Build and maintain applications using ASP.NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and SQL Server
  • (not just APIs but also web and windows applications)
  • Write clean, maintainable code using good OOP practices
  • Work on tasks that may involve simple and complex logic problems
  • (data parsing, counting, transformations, basic algorithms)
  • Collaborate with QA, Product, and other engineers to deliver features
  • Help improve code quality through code reviews and technical discussions
  • Work on occasional UI components (AngularJS/JavaScript) as part of full-stack development


What we’re looking for


  • 2+ years of experience in backend or full-stack development
  • Solid experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, SQL, REST APIs
  • Good understanding of OOP (abstraction, inheritance, composition, encapsulation)
  • Comfortable explaining your approach to simple and complex logic problems
  • (no need for code — just show your reasoning clearly)
  • Ability to explain solutions in a clear, structured, and simple way
  • Experience with Git or other version control tools (SVN, Bitbucket, etc.)
  • Bonus: Entity Framework, Azure, unit testing, microservices exposure
