We are looking for a
Multimedia Design Associate to be the creative engine of our shows. You will be responsible for creating high-impact visual assets that help our podcasts stand out in a crowded digital landscape. You will work closely with the production and internal teams to turn raw content into compelling visual stories for social media, YouTube, and brand partners.
Minimum Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities:
- Visual Content Creation: Design and produce a wide range of multimedia assets, including YouTube thumbnails, social media carousels (IG/FB), and promotional posters.
- Motion Graphics & Animation: Develop animated intros, outros, lower-thirds, and "audiograms" (animated waveforms) to enhance the visual quality of our video podcast clips.
- 3D Asset Development: Utilize 3D modeling and rendering (where applicable) to create depth in our visual branding, including 3D show logos or simulated studio environments.
- Brand Identity Maintenance: Ensure all designs align with the specific "look and feel" of individual shows while maintaining PNA’s overall network standards.
- AI Integration: Leverage AI tools (Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, etc.) to accelerate the design process, from generating textures and backgrounds to automating repetitive resizing tasks.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Segment Producers to understand episode themes and translate them into "clickable" visual hooks.
- Asset Management: Organize and maintain a clean library of project files, templates, and raw assets for easy retrieval and team collaboration.
Minimum Qualifications
- Technical Proficiency: Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
- Aesthetic Judgment: A strong eye for typography, color theory, and layout. You know how to make text readable and designs "pop" on small mobile screens.
- Speed & Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. You can deliver a polished thumbnail or social tile in a tight turnaround window.
- AI-Savvy: You are proactive in using AI to enhance your workflow and stay updated on the latest design automation trends.
- Portfolio Required: A strong portfolio (Behance, Video Reel, or personal website) demonstrating a mix of static design and motion work.
- Communication: Ability to take constructive feedback and iterate on designs quickly without losing creative momentum.
