Key Responsibilities
Prepare a wide range of traditional and contemporary dim sum dishes, including dumplings, buns, rolls, and other steamed or fried varieties.
Ensure consistent, high-quality food preparation and presentation that aligns with restaurant standards.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen while strictly adhering to food safety regulations.
Collaborate with the kitchen team and management to develop new dim sum offerings and refine existing dishes.
Manage inventory to ensure ingredients are adequately stocked and prepared in a timely manner.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to enhance their skills and maintain excellent standards.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Dimsum Chef or in a similar role within a Chinese or Asian cuisine restaurant.
Expertise in crafting traditional dim sum, including dumplings, bao buns, and spring rolls.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, portion control, and kitchen safety protocols.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and consistency.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
