As part of our continued business growth, the
Project Manager will play a key role in leading and delivering a portfolio of strategic initiatives over the next year. We are seeking a professional with strong expertise in banking and Scrum methodologies, with the ability to manage complex projects and align cross-functional teams. This role is critical for ensuring consistent delivery, operational discipline, and measurable business impact across all project initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, from initiation to closure.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, operations, and compliance, to ensure project success.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all projects adhere to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Lead Scrum teams and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure the successful implementation of Agile methodologies and practices within projects.
- Communicate project status, updates, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the project management team.
- Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- A PMP certification or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in the banking industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.
- Strong understanding of banking operations, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
- Experience managing projects using Scrum and other Agile methodologies.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
