You will be the Engineer, Process in Assembly Engineering where you will be responsible for sustaining and continuously improving the Assembly Midline-Mechanical Back End manufacturing processes. The role ensures stable production, high product quality, and successful implementation of productivity and cost reduction initiatives. Assembly Processes include Saw and Trim Singulation, Debar/Dejunk Lead Conditioning, Molding, Microvision/NNI AOI and Taping, Final Visual Inspection, Molding, Sealing/Glue Cure, Laser Marking.
- Resolves day-to-day process engineering issues affecting production. Provide technical decisions and engineering dispositions.
- Drives yield improvement, process optimization, manufacturing robustness, and improvements to address internal and external customer concerns and complaints, including material issues, by performing engineering validations, buy-offs, evaluations, and qualifications
- Generates, defines and updates assembly process specification and ensures implementation.
- Performs risk analysis/FMEA and ensures adherence to quality systems standards and procedures
- Performs root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, and manufacturing requirements.
- Prepare and present project status updates, technical reports, and executive reviews.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield, cycle time, productivity, quality, and cost reduction for project deliverables
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Product Engineering, and Manufacturing Excellence teams
We are looking for someone who has the following background and capabilities:
- Graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering or an equivalent Engineering course
- Must have at least three (3) years relevant experience in Process Engineering, handling critical processes in Singulation, Molding, Trim and Form, Taping/AOI
- Knowledgeable in Disco package Singulation and Molding
- Good oral and written communication skills
