Senior Solution Engineer (Java, AWS)

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Solution Engineer (Java) to design, build, and operate robust, cloud-native data and AI solutions. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with strong software development fundamentals and deep expertise in Java and AWS, with experience delivering scalable, production-grade systems.

You will work across the full lifecycle—from architecture and development to deployment and optimization—driving high-impact solutions for data and AI use cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate end-to-end production-grade software and data solutions

• Develop scalable and secure data pipelines and data platforms using AWS

• Apply best practices in:

  • Clean code and modular architecture

  • Automated testing and CI/CD

  • Observability and secure development
    
    

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions

• Enable analytics and AI use cases through reliable system design

• Build and maintain cloud-native integrations and services on AWS

• Own deployment, release management, and production operations (monitoring, troubleshooting, optimization)

• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity and quality
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in software or solution engineering in enterprise environments

• Strong track record of delivering scalable, production-grade systems

• Deep hands-on experience with AWS (compute, storage, networking, IAM, serverless, monitoring)

• Strong proficiency in Java, including:

  • Software design principles

  • API development

  • Automated testing

  • Dependency management and maintainability
    
    

• Strong understanding of:

  • Software development lifecycle (SDLC)

  • Git-based workflows and CI/CD

  • DevOps and infrastructure-as-code
    
    

• Ability to translate complex or ambiguous problems into clear technical solutions

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS certification (e.g., Solutions Architect Associate)

• Experience with AWS AI services (e.g., Amazon Bedrock) and modern AI solution patterns

• Familiarity with:

  • Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and AI guardrails

  • AI-assisted coding tools (Copilot, Claude, Cursor, etc.)
    
    

• Knowledge of modern engineering practices such as:

  • Prompt engineering and evaluation loops

  • Automated quality checks and reusable workflows
    
    

• Experience working with sensitive or regulated data environments

• Background in financial services is a plus
