Job Summary
The Data Encoder is responsible for accurately entering and maintaining patient and billing information in the hospital information system. This role ensures data integrity, supports HMO-related transactions, generates reports, and coordinates with various departments to ensure efficient hospital operations.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Accurately encode and update patient information, hospital charges, and other related data in the hospital information system.
- Process and coordinate HMO-related information and concerns.
- Manage the Hospital's One Stop Shop queue at the COPD station
- Generate reports as requested by concerned departments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Promptly report any system issues or discrepancies to the appropriate personnel for immediate resolution.
- Perform other tasks and responsibilities that may be assigned by management from time to time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related computer course.
- At least one (1) year of relevant experience in data encoding or a similar role is preferred.
- Proficient in data encoding and data management.
- Basic computer troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with hospital information systems is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
