We are seeking a Linux Administrator to manage and support enterprise Linux environments. This role involves maintaining system performance, ensuring security, and supporting critical business and engineering applications in on-premise and cloud environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, monitor, and upgrade Linux servers (RHEL, Ubuntu)
  • Troubleshoot issues, perform patching, and optimize system performance
  • Manage users, permissions, storage, backups, and core services (DNS, LDAP, web servers)
  • Support physical, virtual, and AWS-based environments, including HPC clusters
  • Ensure system reliability, availability, and security through best practices
  • Implement security hardening, vulnerability remediation, and support audits
  • Monitor systems, resolve incidents, perform root cause analysis, and maintain documentation
  • Develop automation scripts and support DevOps and configuration management initiatives
  • Collaborate with engineering, network, security, and cloud teams


Required Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of Linux administration experience (RHEL, Ubuntu)
  • Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), storage (NetApp, NFS), and backup tools (e.g., Rubrik)
  • Proficiency in Bash scripting and Linux CLI
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, SSH)
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in semiconductor, EDA, or HPC environments
  • Familiarity with AWS, Ansible/Puppet, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD
  • Linux certifications (RHCSA/RHCE)
