About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Web Developer with strong expertise in both WordPress and ExpressionEngine to support the development, customization, maintenance, and optimization of CMS-driven websites. The ideal candidate has solid front-end and back-end development experience, a strong understanding of modern web standards, and the ability to deliver high-quality, responsive, and SEO-friendly websites.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance websites built on WordPress and ExpressionEngine.
- Customize themes, templates, plugins, and ExpressionEngine add-ons to meet business requirements.
- Convert Figma designs and other design assets into responsive, user-friendly websites.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code.
- Implement SEO best practices, including clean markup, structured headings, schema markup, and performance optimization.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services as needed.
- Troubleshoot website issues, perform debugging, and implement fixes promptly.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Manage code versioning and deployments using Git and related workflows.
Qualifications & Requirements
- At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience with both WordPress and ExpressionEngine (required).
- Solid experience in PHP development.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience building responsive and mobile-friendly websites from Figma or other design files.
- Experience customizing WordPress themes/plugins and ExpressionEngine templates/add-ons.
- Familiarity with Git and version control best practices.
- Strong understanding of SEO-friendly web development, including page performance optimization and structured data implementation.
- Experience with API integrations is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work during hours that closely overlap with U.S. Eastern Time (EST) to support team and client collaboration.

- Base Salary: PHP 45,000 per month
