The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all structural construction activities comply with approved plans, specifications, contract requirements, applicable codes, and quality standards. The position oversees inspection, testing, documentation, and quality control processes to ensure that work is completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with project requirements
Quality Assurance (QA)
Develop and implement the Project Quality Management Plan.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and industry standards.
Review and monitor quality procedures, inspection plans, and method statements.
Conduct quality audits and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams regarding quality requirements.
Quality Control (QC)
Perform inspections of structural works including excavation, formworks, rebar installation, concrete pouring, steel erection, and structural assemblies.
Verify that materials delivered to the site meet approved specifications and standards.
Monitor Concrete Sampling, Testing, And Other Required Laboratory Tests.
Ensure all construction activities comply with approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITP).
Prepare and submit Requests for Inspection (RFI) to consultants and clients.
Identify non-conforming works and issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) when necessary.
Monitor corrective actions and verify closure of quality issues.
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain quality records, inspection reports, test results, and material certifications.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.
Ensure proper filing and control of quality-related documents.
Assist in project handover documentation and preparation of as-built records.
Coordination and Training
Coordinate with Site Engineers, Supervisors, and Foremen regarding quality requirements.
Conduct toolbox meetings and quality awareness sessions for site personnel.
Provide technical guidance to construction teams on quality standards and procedures.
