Core Responsibilities

Translates visual designs into working interfaces, executes designs based on established branding and guidelines with great attention to detail
Works with project leads to plan and estimate assigned work and define task lists
Tracks progress of objectives and notifies appropriate team members of status
Works with cross-functional teams that include software engineers, system engineers, visual designers, functional architects and account managers
Meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards and adhering to established estimates
Illustrate ability to use motion and user-feedback to produce fluid experiences
Support diverse clients from high-powered desktop computers to small footprint mobile devices
Front-End Developer 2
Be able to switch gears quickly and effectively
Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies

Core Functional Skills

Expert in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Good understanding of layout with CSS, good eye for color, design, typography
Good understanding of web standards and responsive design
Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue and React, as well as TypeScript, desirable
Experience testing in multiple browsers and devices
Experience with CSS preprocessors like and SASS and CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap and Foundation desirable
Experience with Git source control and working in a team environment desirable
Experience with Node.js and/or Node.js based build tools (Webpack)
Knowledge of content management systems like WordPress, Umbraco, Episerver and Sitefinity desirable
Competency working with graphic designs produced using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma
Experience working with and understanding site maps, user flow diagrams, wireframes and other information design documents for websites.

Ideal Experience & Qualifications

3-5 years of experience as a front-end developer
Provide portfolio, links and/or examples of work
Comfort with the unknown and the confidence to handle changing project requirements, direction and project plans
Ideal candidate has experience with any of the following technologies / systems:
