Braun Management is looking for a Junior Project Controller to assist with tracking project performance and financial indicators. Our team is currently coordinating an organizational review for an established Southeast Asian infrastructure group with significant assets in the Philippines, which requires remote tracking support to verify that daily project data matches operational reality. This is a full-time, fully remote role.

About Braun Management
Braun Management works with executive boards across German-speaking Europe and international markets to fix organizational problems that internal teams have struggled to solve. We focus on the practical realities of management, from restructuring underperforming units to clarifying decision rights when committees have stalled. Our work is often unglamorous but essential. We help leadership teams move past vague directions and move toward concrete trade-offs. We identify where reporting lines no longer match reality and where operational friction is slowing down strategic goals. We provide an outside perspective that is unsentimental and backed by evidence.

The Role
In this entry-level position, you will support the tracking and analysis of large-scale infrastructure projects. You will act as a primary point of coordination for data coming from field operations and the finance department. The goal of the Junior Project Controller is to check that what is reported to the board matches the reality of the work progress. Because we work with complex governance structures, your focus will be on accuracy and identifying where project timelines or budgets are deviating from the original plan. You will spend your time verifying documentation, updating tracking sheets, and helping senior consultants prepare summaries for the client.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Gathering weekly progress reports from project leads and verifying them against documented milestones.
  • Updating project tracking sheets and internal databases with current financial and operational data.
  • Comparing actual project costs against allocated budgets to identify potential overruns early.
  • Assisting in the preparation of status reports and presentations for executive stakeholders.
  • Reviewing documentation to confirm that decision-making processes follow the agreed-upon governance model.
  • Flagging discrepancies between site updates and financial reporting for the consulting team.
  • Maintaining a centralized project archive to make sure all records are consistent and accessible.
  • Participating in internal team meetings to provide updates on data collection status.

What We Are Looking For
  • A bachelor degree in business, finance, project management, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles or project scheduling concepts.
  • Comfort using spreadsheet software such as Excel to manage and organize data sets.
  • High attention to detail when reviewing long documents or financial reports.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in written form.
  • Eager to learn how to identify and analyze organizational friction in large companies.
  • Comfortable working in a fully remote environment with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Basic exposure to project management tools or shared document environments.

Working at Braun Management
As a remote organization, we value clarity and evidence. Our consultants look for the structural issues beneath the surface of performance gaps to ensure the operating models of our clients match their goals. We do not provide generic advice but focus on the structural transparency required for executive teams to lead effectively. We prioritize intellectual honesty and precise written work. This environment is ideal for a junior professional who values straightforward communication and wants to understand how large organizations actually function at a deep level.

Employment Setup
Braun Management is the legal entity for this position. This is a permanent, full-time, fully remote role. Candidates based in the Philippines or other locations are welcome to apply, provided they can overlap significantly with Southeast Asian business hours to coordinate with the infrastructure project team. This position is a remote engagement and does not require local office attendance or relocation. We offer attractive pay for this entry-level position. No fees are required to apply or start in this role, and we do not require the purchase of specialized equipment or software. There are no money transfer or private investigation duties associated with this position.
