Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled
Graphic Designer specializing in Canva to support our team on a
3–6 month project-based engagement. This role will focus on organizing, optimizing, and enhancing our
Master Marketing Template system while ensuring Canva is utilized efficiently and consistently across all marketing materials.
The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Canva, has a strong eye for branding and layout consistency, and can confidently guide junior team members in content and design execution.
Responsibilities
- Develop, organize, and optimize the company’s Master Marketing Templates within Canva.
- Ensure all templates follow consistent branding, formatting, and design standards.
- Recommend and implement best practices for maximizing Canva’s features and workflows.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve marketing asset structure and usability.
- Provide guidance and direction to junior content developers regarding layout, visual hierarchy, and content presentation.
- Provide mentorship and design direction to junior graphic designers.
- Coordinate with the technical writer as needed to ensure content and visuals align effectively.
- Review and refine marketing materials to maintain high-quality visual standards.
- Support the creation and updating of marketing collateral, presentations, social media assets, and other branded materials.
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience using Canva.
- Proven experience creating branded templates, marketing assets, and design systems.
- Strong understanding of visual design principles, typography, spacing, and branding consistency.
- Ability to lead and provide constructive direction to junior creative team members.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including content and technical writing teams, is preferred.
- Experience building scalable template systems in Canva.
- Familiarity with marketing and content workflows.
- Ability to balance creativity with structure and process improvement.
- Experience in remote or collaborative digital work environments.
