We are seeking a
Lead Data Engineer to play a pivotal role in designing, building, and operating high-quality data products that enable analytics and bank-wide operational support.
In this role, you will lead the end-to-end development of modern data pipelines and platforms using Snowflake, Fivetran, dbt, and Airflow, while championing best practices in data modelling, engineering excellence, observability, and version control.
You are not only a tech-lead but also a people leader for a team of talented data engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and fostering their professional development.

Key skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Data Architecture: Proven experience designing and implementing scalable data models and products in Snowflake.
- Transformation & Orchestration: Advanced proficiency with dbt for transformation and Airflow for complex workflow orchestration.
- Data Integration: Hands-on experience building and managing automated ingestion pipelines using Fivetran.
- Engineering Excellence: Strong command of GitHub for version control, CI/CD patterns, and collaborative development.
- Agile Leadership: Ability to lead technical sprints, mentor engineers, and navigate an Agile/Scrum environment.
- People Management: Experience in directly managing or mentoring a team of data engineers to build a high-performing team culture.
Bonus:
- Observability: Experience using Dynatrace (or similar tools) to monitor pipeline health, performance, and system reliability.
- AI Powered engineering: Demonstrated ability to leverage AI to enhance data product development, automate data quality checks, and drive innovative engineering solutions.
