About The Role
As a Lead Developer within Cegeka's Applications division, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering high-quality software solutions for our clients. You will lead a team of talented developers, overseeing the end-to-end development process from initial concept through to deployment in production. Your responsibilities will include translating architectural overviews into detailed system, application, or process designs during project implementation, ensuring alignment with technical blueprints created by the Technical Architect. You will collaborate closely with the Technical Architect to take ownership of the overall technical design, ensuring it meets project requirements related to cost, performance, and maintainability. Additionally, you will manage the daily activities of your team, ensuring adherence to project timelines and maintaining high standards of quality. Your proactive approach will foster continuous improvement of processes and tools, enhancing service delivery. You will also mentor and support functional analysts, technical designers, and application architects, promoting a cohesive and efficient team environment. To excel in this role, you will need to stay updated on the latest technological advancements and continuously develop your skills to maximize organizational expertise.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in developing software solutions based on C# and/or Azure.
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role, guiding and coaching developers.
- Extensive knowledge of Azure services, preferably with relevant certifications.
- Experience with integration solutions, with a preference for Azure Integration Services.
- Knowledge of AI technologies, ideally with experience using GitHub Copilot and Azure AI Foundry.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to clients and colleagues.
- Strategic and conceptual thinking capabilities.
- Proven ability to manage technical design, team activities, and project delivery effectively.
Responsibilities
- Translate architectural overviews into specific system, application, or process designs during project implementation.
- Take responsibility for the overall technical design of projects in collaboration with the Technical Architect.
- Ensure designs align with project blueprints and meet requirements for performance, cost, and maintainability.
- Organize and oversee daily activities of internal team members to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Promote and implement continuous improvement initiatives related to processes and tools for better service delivery.
- Guide and support functional analysts, technical designers, and application architects to enhance team efficiency and cohesion.
- Maintain and expand technical expertise through ongoing learning, training, and certifications.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to ensure clarity of project goals and technical solutions.
