Business Partner Senior Analyst We have an opportunity to join our team as a Business Partner Senior Analyst supporting the Enterprise IT function. If you’re an experienced Business Partner who thrives in providing expert support and guidance to your stakeholders, and have had previous exposure to IT costs, then this might be the role for you! Our Business Partner Senior Analyst will work with stakeholders in Enterprise IT to assist with the delivery of their strategy within the budgeted cost plans., This person will provide solid support and take ownership of financial forecasting and budget planning, as well as end of month processes (accruals, prepayments), cost centre and internal order set up (with the support of our SAP team), Year-to-Date and variance analysis.
We’re constantly looking to make efficiencies and improvements to both our Corporate and Customers Finance processes and as our Business Partner Senior Analyst you’ll have the opportunity to lead in the coordination and delivery of initiatives across both teams.Our strategic goal on cost reduction is to absorb inflation and reduce absolute costs, one of the key levers for this is the use of data and digitalisation to transform the business, you’ll work closely with the key business stakeholders, to support this wider objective.

You’ll ensure the timely delivery of Corporate financial plans while engaging and challenging the Senior Management team is essential. Accuracy in financial reporting is paramount, reflecting actuals, approvals, budgets, and forecasts effectively whilst acting as a steward for Corporate Functions and EIT.
As a strategic partner to the business, providing relevant analyses integrated into business plans is key. Collaboration with business areas for financial decision support and proactive cost control is central to success. Supporting financial planning processes involves producing Medium Term Plans, Budgets, and Re-forecasts, with a forward-looking approach to challenging assumptions and ensuring quality.
Facilitating Financial and Performance Review meetings with key executives, including the CIO, CFO, and Financial Control Director, is crucial. Encouraging exemplary practices in change initiatives and seeking process improvements are part of the role, promoting best practices across the organization.
Creating easily understandable narratives and graphics around financials aids comprehension of complex concepts, fostering a self-service attitude towards technology and tools. Providing advice on planning assumptions, trade-offs, threats, and opportunities contributes to informed decision-making.
Who you are
Previous experience in finance within a comparable organization is essential, encompassing a solid understanding of Capex/Opex, accounting principles, and planning proficiency. Additionally, possessing robust skills in data analytics, finance systems management, and process controls, along with advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, is crucial. Preferably, familiarity with Anaplan showcases adaptability across different finance systems, enhancing overall effectiveness.
With a proven ability in logical and analytical thinking, adept at pinpointing key indicators and providing strategic consultancy, coupled with exceptional commercial acumen, swiftly absorbing information and articulating complex concepts to diverse audiences. Demonstrating strong commercial awareness, ensuring the significance of information is effectively communicated to non-specialists.
Highly energetic and naturally curious, possessing a proactive and independent approach with a strong desire for knowledge acquisition. Adaptable to change and resilient in the face of challenges, showcasing exceptional communication skills and adept at fostering productive stakeholder relationships.
You’ll be proficient in both influencing and negotiating, equally comfortable working independently or collaboratively as part of a team. Maintains an extensive network, skilled in gathering data and adept at solving novel problems.
