As a Vending Machine technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of vending machines at various locations. Your primary duties will include:

• Performing routine maintenance checks on vending machines to ensure proper functionality and cleanliness.
• Diagnosing and Troubleshooting technical issues with vending machines.
• Conducting repairs and replacements of defective parts to restore vending machines to working condition. 
• Responding to service calls from clients promptly and addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
• Installing new vending machines on sites according to specifications and safety standards
• Refiling of vending machines ( 6-7 machines daily depending on scheduled route)

Requirements:

• Minimum SPM/O level / Diploma or equivalent; C
• Electrical & Electronic certification is a bonus

Overview:

As a Sales & Technical Support Executive specializing in on-site filter replacement for our air purifier business, you will play a pivotal role in supporting both sales and technical functions. In addition to performing filter replacements at customer premises, you will assist the sales team by providing technical product demonstrations to potential customers. This hybrid role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, sales acumen, and customer service skills. The ideal candidate will be adept at engaging with customers, showcasing product features, and delivering exceptional support throughout the sales process.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise and support during customer meetings, product demonstrations, and sales presentations.

2. Product Demonstrations: Conduct on-site technical product demonstrations for potential customers, highlighting key features, benefits, and usage scenarios of our air purifier products.

3. Customer Engagement: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner while scheduling on-site filter replacement appointments and addressing any inquiries they may have regarding the process.

4. Filter Replacement Services: Travel to customer locations to perform air purifier filter replacements according to the recommended schedule and guidelines provided by the company.

5. Technical Support: Provide on-site technical assistance to customers, including troubleshooting any issues related to the air purifier's operation or performance.

6. Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of our air purifier products, including their features, functionalities, and maintenance requirements, to effectively guide customers through the filter replacement process.

7. Documentation:  Maintain accurate records of filter replacement activities, customer interactions, and any technical issues encountered during on-site visits.

8. Quality Assurance: Ensure that filter replacements are conducted with precision and attention to detail to uphold the quality standards of our products and services.

9. Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from customers regarding their overall satisfaction with the filter replacement service and relay this information to the relevant departments for continuous improvement.

10. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while performing on-site filter replacements to minimize risks and ensure the well-being of both customers and staff.

11. Inventory Management: Keep track of inventory levels for replacement filters and coordinate with warehouse / logistics team to ensure adequate stock availability for scheduled appointments.

Qualifications:

1. Diploma  in Mechanical Engineering (Politeknik),Diploma in Electrical/ Electronic/ Mechatronic or SKM.

2. Proven experience in technical support or field service roles, with hands-on experience in performing maintenance or repair tasks.

3. Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using tools and equipment for filter replacement and troubleshooting tasks.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers and address their needs in a professional manner.

5. Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of work performance.

6. Valid driver's license and clean driving record, with the ability to travel to customer locations as required.

Job Description

1. Manufacturing:

• Oversee the process of manufacturing, especially on fabrication cylinder process (molding and machine set-up), spray painting process, powder filling process, final assembly, fire hose reel process, and other products.
• Ensure the material availability for manufacturing process planning before creating the job order.
• Assist provide on-the-job training to subordinates about day-to-day activities.
• Assist in monitoring daily manufacturing records and verifying records in the “Overall Equipment Effectiveness” (OEE) system.
• Monitor and check nonconformance products, “Discrepant Material Report (DMR) during the in-process for QAQC department verification and inspection purposes.
• Monitor and minimize product rework and rejection.
• Identify the cause of product failure and recommend a “Corrective Action Request” (CAR).
• Coordinate with the QAQC department and other departments, especially on items relating to product quality and improvement.
• Overseeing subordinates; providing guidance and delegation.
• Find a supplier (immediate request) to purchase special spare parts machines, molding parts, tools, etc.
• Ensure daily work assignments are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure the work environment meets health & safety standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Involve in new product development

2. Production:

• Oversee the production assembly process, especially on production assembly product, Gas filling process, e-feis application process (for BOMBA), and product servicing process.
• Ensure the material availability for production assembly, servicing, and repair planning before creating job orders.
• Assist provide on-the-job training to subordinates about day-to-day activities.
• Assist in monitoring daily production records and verifying records in the “Overall Equipment Effectiveness” (OEE) system.

• Ensure the material availability for fabrication, servicing, and repair planning
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and update maintenance records.
• Identify the cause of product failure and recommend corrective action.
• Provide on-the-job training to subordinates about day-to-day activities.
• Overseeing subordinates; providing guidance and delegation.
• Find a supplier (immediate request) to purchase special spare parts machines, molding parts, tools, and for unplanned maintenance or emergency issues.
• Ensure daily work assignments are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure the work environment is safe, secure, and healthy.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Participate in safety committee meetings.
• Perform other duties assigned.
• Oversee the process of manufacturing/production.

Job Requirements:

• SPM with proven experience in supervisory role or Diploma in engineering, manufacturing, production or similar capacity
• At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing, production, moulding, and similar related fields
• Possess leadership qualities and able to work closely and supervise a team of local and foreign employees in carrying out their daily job responsibilities.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Responsibility :-

1. To be responsible to assist Segment Manager (IWK) for all IWK paperwork and to prepare costing estimation and quotation for new jobs or existing repairing/service jobs for submission to relevant IWK offices unit. 

2. To issue purchase requisition for purchase of spare parts and new sales order. 

3. To coordinate with Service Department on the planning and arrangement on all IWK jobs.

4. To prepare and arrange bid for IWK e-procurement tender.

5. To work closely with all departments in resolving any issues with regards to IWK e.g. to ensure all payments have been made to WECSB in timely manners, etc.

6. To be responsible for the proper filing of all documentations and reports for IWK jobs.

7. To assist in site visiting/attendance for tender participation as and when necessary.

8. Such other related duties as The Management may direct.

9. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

10. Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements

11. Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in IWK segment; researching and analyzing sales options.

12. Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

13. To monitor/update/submit weekly and monthly report i.e. SLA report, LOS report, etc. 

14. To monitor/manage the entire incoming and outgoing processes of IWK transactions.

Job Requirement :-

Proficient in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia
Able to perform under pressure and independently in a fast paced and ever-changing environment and able to work independently.
Computer skills knowledge of Microsoft office products, specifically Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
