YOU WILL PLAY IMPORTANT ROLE IN

• Recruitment, selection and placement of manpower requirement in SDP as according to approved personnel requisition.
• To lead, supervise and monitor job performance of subordinates.
• Responsible for the administration of company benefits and welfare programme for all staffs such as leave/medical/uniforms etc.
• To be responsible for updating and computation of employee personnel records such as personal file, confirmation, transfer, promotion, resignation, termination etc.
• Responsible to create and maintain Prosoft system in a proper way to support attendance management and payroll computation. 
• To conduct exit interview for resignation and highlight to the management on any special issue if deemed necessary.
• To handle staff disciplinary issue, grievances and counseling in operational level. 
• Delivers progress reports and analysis to the Human Resource Manager as appropriate.
• Oversee Safety, Health, Environment and Training section

Requirements:

• Diploma in Human Resource / Business Administration or equivalent preferred.
• Possess a Safety Officer green book is an advantage.
• A hands-on person with minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in HR, EHS, Training Section in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
• Analytical problem solver with demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment while working independently to resolve critical issues.

The Role in a Nutshell:

The HR Services Manager is responsible for delivering high quality HR Services, managing and coordinating daily activities between the GEO business and In-Country Partners, Clients, and Workers to effectively and compliantly manage workers’ employment. We are looking for a person who is well versed with Sri Lanka employment acts, able to provide professional and legally compliant guidance on Human Resource Business Partnering service to a wide range of global clients for Sri Lanka.

How you will make a difference:  

• Act as the main point of contact for all HR related issues for in Sri Lanka GEO employees and clients throughout the employee life cycle.
• Proactively support the delivery of all HR processes encompassing but not limited to policies, practices and procedures, ensuring legal compliance
• Advise clients where necessary on workers career progressions and promotions, salary analysis & recommendations.
• Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with statutory requirements
• Provide general HR support daily in areas such as onboarding, off-boarding, and employee relations.
• Execute all work passes and related matters (i.e., new application, renewals, cancellations, transfer of sponsorship etc.)
• Prepare and maintain all types of contracts of employment (Starters, Leavers, Extensions and employment transfers) ensuring legal compliance for Sri Lanka.
• Manage the monthly payroll life cycle for Sri Lanka
• Provide ongoing guidance and support to GEO Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain and Line Management as and when requested.
• Work with associated benefit providers to provide legally compliant benefit packages for all workers and provide benefit costing updates to Supply Chain and Line Management.
• Support corporate HR matters and participate in ad-hoc projects.

2. Implementing the approved internal audit plan.
3. Assist with development and improvement of operational SOP.
4. Undertaking an ongoing quality assurance and review program to ensure audits are performed diligently, effectively, and within professional standards and ethical guidelines
5. Coordinating the scope of internal audit work with that of the external auditors, as appropriate, to ensure optimum audit coverage is achieved for an appropriate cost.
6. Issuing reports to the Board, summarizing the results of internal audit activities and the status of management’s actions on recommended control improvements.
7. Coordinate and lead the implementation of the agreed upon recommendations, related to the area of responsibility, resulting from the audit findings, both internal and external.
8. Reviewing the structure and reporting arrangements of internal audit activities, and proposing changes to the management.
9. Keeping the management informed of emerging internal audit trends and practices

1. Manage the financial accounting, reporting (management and statutory reports), month end closing process, reconciliation and consolidation
