QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in Computer Science with major course work in operating systems, computer architecture, data structures, programming, database management, networking and security, or an equivalent program acceptable to management, and eight (8) years information technology experience including four (4) years as a systems programmer, network administrator, or equivalent and one (1) year as either a supervisor or team leader, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Waste Water designer who would be responsible for using 2D and 3D computer aided design applications to develop and record designs as models and drawings. The Designer, will evaluate design intent provided by professional engineers and translate that into the model or drawing. The Designer will assist in the design of larger and more complex assignments that involve conventional plans, investigations and surveys. Primarily this is for infrastructure, water and waste water treatment, stormwater and drainage, pumping, piping and pipelines, chemical storage and dosing, minor structural and civil elements.
The ideal candidate
Ideally, we are seeking a candidate who is experienced in the Drafting and design within the Water/mechanical engineering sector. You have knowledge in concepts/preliminary design models using GIS and survey data, drawings, models and general design intent.
You will also have the following skills & experience:
Associate Degree, Diploma, Associate Diploma of Design or Engineering or similar para-professional level qualification, or equivalent experience.
3+ years experience in the infrastructure field as a designer
Experience with Autocad a must and experience with Plant 3D and Revit an advantage.
Competence and experience in the practice of the drafting and design in the general mechanical engineering sector.
Competence in the set out and preparation of concepts/preliminary design models using GIS and survey data, existing drawings and models and general design intent.

The Reputation design team is seeking an experienced User Experience Designer with a proven track record of identifying, designing, and delivering software that helps their customers achieve their goals. The best candidate will have experience collaborating effectively across teams and projects in different software development environments. The candidate must demonstrate leadership, technical curiosity, and a deep understanding of design and research methodologies to create software that is modern, approachable, and usable.
Deliver, review and critique the UX Designs of a design team to ensure effective and rich designs (great interaction, pleasant visual styling, consistent and appropriate use of voice and tone, etc)
Work with other UX Designers and product managers to understand user’s needs and behaviors for the industries in which they work
Participate in and lead lean UX activities
Analyze and synthesize research findings; distilling the inherent complexity in the user’s experiences and identify the right problems to solve
Translate findings into usable, useful, effective and efficient user experiences
Clearly and quickly deliver ideas to cross-functional teams
Provide information verbally and visually through low and mid-fidelity renderings and clickable prototypes
Test and validate working hypothesis with users through usability testing of wireframes, clickable prototypes, and published product, and participate in design critiques
Work with Developers to bring concepts to life while maintaining UX best practices
Work on quality assurance throughout to address any issues
Guide and execute strategic design deliverables for multiple feature areas across a suite of products
Help solve complex design problems simply and intuitively, blending brand personality, interactions, and visuals to create delightful experiences
Work closely and constructively with product and engineering to ensure overall business strategy is on track and smooth delivery of designs
Advocate for design in context of business and user goals
Contributes to the use and adoption of latest design system to ensure products are aligned with company-wide systems
Additional duties as assigned.
5 to 7 years of experience in UX Design.
Portfolio of UX-focused work samples for enterprise web and mobile applications.
Strong interaction design skills and a solid understanding of user-centered design principles/standards and design patterns.
Strong visual design skills and a solid understanding of responsive web app design.
Excellent analytical skills, experience with data visualization.
Exceptional ability to communicate complex concepts clearly across different audiences.
Ability to work across organizational boundaries and independently to define, prioritize and manage work to meet project timelines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working closely with agile development teams on implementation.
Self-motivated, disciplined, passionate, curious, creative, team player, humble.
