Assist with multiple levels of procurement to support our Global Procurement and Supply Chain (GPSC) teams within the corporation.
YOUR IMPACT

Assist in the areas of Strategic Purchasing, Global Sourcing, and Operational duties within the various Purchasing departments throughout the corporation.
Expedite purchase orders.
Send request for quotes.
Gather and compile necessary information in order to request quotes from suppliers.
Extract data from multiple ERP systems and databases.
Download drawings and create strategic/targeted bid packages.
Communicate with venders to confirm shipments.
Consult with sales individuals, accounting and finance, engineers, and warehouse personnel to ensure correct transfer of information.
Evaluate competitive proposals from multiple vendors to determine best overall value for the company.
Assist in creating category strategies across multiple areas of spend and aid in creating presentations and executive summaries for leadership.
Provide support to Buyers and Purchasing Agents in the procurement of goods and services from suppliers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Student working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting/Finance, Operations Management, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
GPA of 3.0 or greater
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while working independently and efficiently.

Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level and if you would need to relocate to The Netherlands. If you will perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rata.
Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the land lord, and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hours.
Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €192,- net
