Key Accountabilities

• Daily review key collection indicators and present highlights to the Head of Collection.
• Conduct regular analysis of agent productivity metrics.
• Develop a thorough understanding of the collection process to address any related issues.
• Perform in-depth analysis of the collection portfolio as needed and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Perform monthly inventory planning to ensure sufficient collection capacity.
• Provide assistance to collection managers with collection tools and system support.
• Actively participate in collection system enhancement.

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or demonstrate equivalent experience, with a preference for backgrounds in finance, banking, or related fields.
• Possess a dynamic 2-year track record as a Quality Control (QC) specialist, Investigator, or Auditor.
• Exhibit a passionate interest in the dynamic and evolving landscape of financial technology industries.
• Showcase effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team-building abilities.

The Team

Lyka is in a growth phase and we are actively looking to fill the position of a Data Analyst. This position is pivotal for our operations as it involves identifying unique opportunities for expanding our customer base as well as uplifting the analytical capabilities of our growth focused teams.

What you will do?

Explore Growth Opportunities and Architect the Lyka Growth Model: Dive into data to unveil growth possibilities using proactive insights and develop metrics to influence team rituals and decision-making.

Data Collaboration and Analytics Leadership: Work collaboratively with the Engineering team and stakeholders for seamless data capture, transformation, and storage, taking charge of ad-hoc analytical products and projects across the business.

Data Integrity and Automate Success: Ensure clean and normalised datasets by tackling data integrity challenges and build automated models on large datasets to measure results and predict outcomes.

Data Empowerment: Promote data enablement throughout the Lyka team, spreading the magic of meaningful insights.

Boasting 2+ years of experience in a data-centric role, you thrive in fast-paced, changing environments.

Your experience includes delivering insights, partnering with growth-oriented teams, and understanding the art of experimentation.

While experience with data tools is a plus (our current stack is BigQuery, dbt (core), Tableau, Hightouch and PopSQL), eagerness to learn is equally valued in our dynamic environment.

You wield strong data visualisation and foundational data skills, with an excellent understanding of databases and proficiency in Tableau.

Possessing at least intermediate SQL skills, you approach your work with a meticulous eye for detail with.

Responsibilities :

• Develop key monitoring metrics which can serve as useful performance and risks indicators
• Create clear and clean data dashboards for management reporting
• Analyze data critically, form logical conclusions and work on various strategies for process improvement and optimization
• Participate and support ad-hoc onboard projects requiring extensive quantitative data analysis and data-heavy reporting
• Ensure proper execution and oversight of selected onboard initiatives

• Minimum 5 years experience in onboarding/ credit underwriting; with a focus on data analysis and dashboard creation, especially in financing industry.

• Collaborate with the business and product team to provide answers to tactical questions, primarily using our experiments platform. Your insights will have an impact on the development of product features.
• Create and develop key metrics, reports, and dashboards that go beyond just monitoring. Your work will generate actionable insights that decision-makers can leverage to drive the business forward.
• Work closely with the product team to ensure that features are delivered flawlessly, complete with data tracking and monitoring dashboards.
• Enable our key stakeholders to improve their understanding and analytical power.
• Collaborate with data warehouse and data engineers to design schema, conduct data validation and quality assurance, and establish data management best practices.
• Evaluate operations for inefficiencies and identify areas where you can create, automate, and develop tools.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• Preferably 1-3 years of experience in analytics, including data gathering, analysis, and visualization, preferably in a tech startup.
• Experience working with large, complex datasets that may not always be well-structured.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, BI tools, and event tracking tools. Experience with a programming language such as Python or R is preferred.
• Comfort working with open-ended questions and potentially ambiguous problem statements.
• Experience collaborating with individuals from other domains to deliver impactful results.
• Fluent in English.
