MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor of science in engineering degree from an ABET accredited educational institution and eight (8) or more years of experience in the area of assigned engineering responsibility. Appropriate co-op time and/or an advanced degree in engineering, business or other relevant courses of study may substitute for up to one year of experience.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATES
Valid State of Florida Professional Engineer license may be required.
Must meet the FBPE requirements as defined in Chapter 471 of the Florida Statute and obtain and maintain “Professional Engineer” Licensing as required by Water/Wastewater Engineering, Public Works, Energy Delivery and Principal Engineers assigned to the water/wastewater, and special projects areas of Strategic Planning.

KBR is seeking an Associate Technical Professional - Test Engineering to support our RECO/DTRA contract for KBR’s Science and Space division. Provide test support for environmental testing on CBRNE experiments at Kirtland AFB, WSMR, Dugway, and other US testing grounds.
Scope and Responsibilities:
Conducts tests or experiments requiring selection and adaptation or modification of a wide variety of critical test equipment and test procedures; sets up and operates equipment; records data, measures and records problems of significant complexity that sometimes require resolution at a higher level; and analyzes data and prepares test reports.
Debugs, troubleshoots, maintains, repairs, and calibrates test hardware and software.
Applies methods outlined by others to limited segments of research and development projects; constructs experimental or prototype models to meet engineering requirements; conducts tests or experiments and redesigns as necessary; and records and evaluates data and reports findings.
Extracts and compiles a variety of engineering data from field notes, manuals, lab reports, etc.; processes data, identifying errors or inconsistencies; selects methods of data presentation.
Analyzes test cases and scenarios and reports results.
Collaborates with other engineering groups to improve or upgrade performance.
Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems.
Applies general knowledge of industry developed through education or past experience and begins acquiring disciplinary knowledge within the context of Defense Threat Reduction Agency standards and engineering requirements. No mentoring or advisory responsibilities.
Under general supervision, performs non-routine assignments. May also plan such assignments. Receives technical advice from supervisor or engineer; work is reviewed for technical adequacy (or conformity with instructions). May be assisted by lower level technicians and have frequent contact with professionals and others within the establishment.
Skills and Abilities:
· Requires good computer skills
· Knowledge concerning electronics and electronic systems for data acquisition
· Soldering expertise and electronic construction
· Electronic maintenance and calibration
· Experience in the area of high explosive testing
· Experience regarding Chemical, Biological, Nuclear, Radiological and Explosives (CBRNE) research, testing, and technology
· Knowledge in one or more areas including transducers, timing and firing systems, data acquisition systems, computer networking, wireless transmission systems, optical systems, or seismic instrumentation.
· Good oral and written communication skills
Special Requirements (Licenses, Clearances or Certifications): Requires DoD SECRET Security Clearance

Education and Experience: BS degree in Engineering.

As a critical part of Moderna’s Manufacturing Science and Technology (MST) department in Harwell, UK, this role supports the expansion of our manufacturing capabilities. You will play a key role in the tech transfer of Moderna’s vaccine process from the USA to the UK site, contributing to process validation and lifecycle CMC activities. This involves generating protocols, overseeing manufacturing executions, and writing summary reports, ensuring continued process verification for our products.

Supporting the technology transfer activities of commercial products into the new UK site.
Serving as a technical expert in cGMP manufacturing, including authoring technology transfer documents and supporting validation activities.
Analyzing manufacturing performance and authoring summary reports.
Your responsibilities will also include:
Leading cross-functional troubleshooting and operational improvements for the manufacturing process and equipment.
Authoring and executing protocols for process characterization and equipment scale-up in cGMP Manufacturing.

Biochemical engineer, Chemical engineer, or Biochemistry background.
BS with more than 6 years of experience or MS with more than 3 years experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology company
Process development or operational experience in one or more of the following bioprocessing unit operations: Enzymatic reaction, chromatography, tangential flow filtration, buffer formulation, drug product formulation, and aseptic filling
Experience in providing technical support to cGMP manufacturing organization
Experience in working with single use consumables, SS tanks and skids
Experience in supporting tech transfer, change control, investigation, and data analysis
Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to manage projects in a fast-paced environment
Ability to effectively collaborate in a dynamic, cross-functional matrix environment
Ability to adapt to new and challenging technical opportunities
