What you will do

Work with various stakeholders to identify common patterns and services, documenting and designing those services. Assist with determining the security requirements for new products and services.
Execute "bake-offs" of various tools to implement patterns in collaboration with stakeholders to identify the best tool for the need.
Conduct service risk assessments, and offer remediation recommendations.
Define integration patterns that enable multiple tools to work together in the Equifax ecosystem to meet technology and security requirements.
Define the processes that enable delivery of security services. Facilitate engagement and improvement of the security posture of the corporation.

What You Will Do:

The IT Security Architect is responsible for developing and maintaining an IT security architecture. The IT Security Architect reports directly to the Head of Global IT Security.
This is a key role in tracking and supporting the realization of the security architecture in IT projects and within IT operations. Furthermore the role adapts the technical security architecture from the information security governance guidelines, the enterprise IT architecture, and the business requirements.
Your key responsibilities:
Continuously develop the "Enterprise IT security architecture in big picture" (framework approach) with building blocks in the areas of IT infrastructure, IT applications, Production/OT, R&D/Lab equipment
Collaborate with subject matter experts to continuously develop the individual building blocks within the architecture framework
Consult and review IT project and business initiatives regarding technical security solutions and security requirements

Ideal Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or an equivalent qualification
Profound professional working experience in IT security and IT architecture roles, preferably in a regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals, biotech, or healthcare
Strong knowledge of security protocols, network & systems security, software security, production technology and security, and cloud security
Knowledge and practical experience with the implementation of international standards and guidelines on cyber security (e.g. ISO 27001, IEC 62443, NIST 800 series, CIS)
In depth-knowledge and practical experience with the application of Enterprise Architecture and Security Architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF, SABSA, or Zachman Framework
